Hannah is now taking bookings for local author visits for reception, year one and two. She can also visit your school virtually via zoom. Please contact hello@littlebodhibooks.co.uk for more information.

Hannah visited all year groups throughout our First School, from Reception to Year 4. She engaged all of the children during each session – they were hanging on her every word! Not only were the children encouraged to consider their own mental health, but Hannah provided them with a variety of strategies to support them and also enabled them to practice coping strategies. My personal highlight of her visit was the ending of her session. As a ‘parting gift’, Hannah asked the children to share something they felt was special about them – something we sometimes forget to do ourselves. I can’t recommend her visit enough! We’ll definitely be inviting her back!

What a treat to have local author Hannah, visiting our school. The children were so excited! Hannah delivered three wonderful assemblies to our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes, each tailored to suit the age group. Hannah delivered a key message to the children that being able to celebrate your own achievements is just as important as celebrating others. All children went home with a Conker sticker as a reminder of how awesome they are. A really lovely afternoon, please come back and visit us when your next book is published.

Thank you for coming in to share ‘climb’ and ‘Conker the chameleon’ – an incredibly creative and heart-warming story that addresses feelings. We loved it and the mindful techniques you taught us! We feel proud and inspired hat we might become a BOLD girl like you one day!

-Year two teacher-

Hannah’s books, Conker the Chameleon and Climb were instant hits with the girls with the stories also sharing important messages about mental health. As part of her workshop, the girls learnt a breathing technique to help them feel calm and relaxed and were also invited to share something with Hannah about their own strengths and unique talents.

The girls came away with not only an appreciation of stories but also with some techniques they could use even in their everyday lives.
